On August 5th Rolling Stone published an interview with Jim James. In the interview James talks about the upcoming album, saying that the band had five songs done and that they'd worked a couple weeks at that point, and would continue for another month. James also mentioned that the band would be recording the upcoming album in a church in Louisville.
He also said that the new album would be more upbeat, supposedly in comparison to Evil Urges, which James also mentioned in the article, saying it's the hardest record the band ever have had to make.
